Uno de los dos objetos en vidrio, que distanciados entre sí, se conectan por un hilo de telaraña de cuatro metros. Al acercarse a cada objeto en el extremo se puede escuchar el sonido de las patas de la araña tejiendo.
Two glass objects separated from each other are connected by a four meters cobweb thread. As one approaches each of the extreme object, the sound of the spider's legs weaving can be heard.

La primera prueba en vidrio para el proyecto Hilantes buscaba una forma similar al de una piedra. Este objeto tenía en un lado un agujero milimetrico para enhebrar el hilo de araña y en el otro un pico por el cual escuchar.
The first glass test for the Hilantes (Weavers) project tried to be similar to the shape of a stone. This object had at one side a millimeter hole to thread the spider web and in the other a hole by which to listen.

En este caso, la segunda prueba del objeto en vidrio no parte de un modelo de referencia como lo era la piedra. Su exploración busca un objeto-huella del soplo del artesano una vez exhala por la boquilla hinchando el vidrio.
In this case, the second glass object test doesn’t come from a reference model as the stone. Its exploration looked for an object-index of the artisan's breath once it exhales through the mouthpiece by puffing the glass up.

Segunda prueba del objeto en vidrio. Detalle del pico y el hilo. En el lado opuesto la pieza se adelgaza hasta formar una línea de vidrio que se conecta con la telaraña y permite la transducción del sonido.
Second test of the object in glass. Detail of the peak and the thread. On the opposite side the glass piece slims down until it forms a line that connects to the cobweb thread and allows the transduction of the sound.

Tercera prueba y objeto definitivo. El objeto se modificó después de estudiar la forma del oído. La línea de vidrio nace del interior de la pieza, la atraviesa, y en el exterior se conecta con el hilo de telaraña permitiendo la transducción del sonido de manera análoga. / Dimensiones: 15 cm de circunferencia x 70 cm de largo.
Third test and final object. The object has been modified after studying the shape of the ear. The line of glass borns from the interior of the piece, crosses it, and in the exterior connects with the cobweb thread allowing an analogous transduction of the sound / Dimensions: 15 cm circumference x 70 cm length.
